Overview

Naza Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd was established in 2010 as the construction arm of the Naza Group of Companies. Driven by the desire to challenge current industry standard and provide quality services and products, a team of leading industry experts in end to end project management and customised property development solution was assembled to realise this vision. Since then, the company had completed various projects ranging from residential and commercial units to office buildings.

THE MANAGEMENT

SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin

Managing Director

Holds a BA in International Business from Regent Business School, London and MA in Entrepreneurial Management from European Business School, London.

Following a few years apprenticeship with the Naza Group, he joined Naza TTDI, the property arm of the Group in 2008 as the Director of Marketing & Sales.

In 2008, he helmed the company as Group Managing Director and following the setting-up of Naza Engineering & Construction in 2010 as the construction arm of the Group, he was also appointed as Managing Director to drive the construction business.

Dato’ Azman Marzuki

Chief Executive Officer

Holds a Master of Business Administration from IMD Business School in Switzerland. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honors) from Wollongong University, Australia.

Dato’ Azman comes with a vast experience both, locally and abroad in property development, construction and engineering industry. His experience includes development and construction of buildings – hotels, hospitals, prime offices and residential townships; infrastructure – highways, bridges, water & wastewater facilities; and marine structures.

His last position with the established company namely Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad was the Deputy Managing Director, where he hold the role of supporting the Managing Director in the entire spectrum of business performance with focus on business growth, project operations and financial management of projects.

Khalid Mansor

Project Director

Holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Putra, Malaysia and Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from University of Canterbury, New Zealand. His experience includes highways, commercial buildings, hotel refurbishments and academic institutions. In his previous company, he was the Operations Director, having responsibilities in planning, leading and implementing operations activities at Site.

Zakir Md. Nor

Acting Head, Internal / Private Sector Projects

Holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from University Teknology Malaysia, Skudai, Johor. He has over 20 years of experience in construction management for projects executed locally and internationally. His past work experience includes highway, resort, residential apartment, Institution and commercial development such as Development of International University College of Automotive (IUCAM), Upgrading DEFTECH and Volkswagen Manufacturing Facilities, Project Perumahan Generasi Baharu Felda, Development of Rebak Marina Resort Langkawi and Kenyir, Additions and Alterations Tekka Mall at Singapore, IBS Precast System Student Apartment for Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris and MSSC-Second Link Gelang Patah, to Tuas, Singapore.

Lim Choon Jue

Senior Manager Contracts

Holds a Diploma in Building Technology and Diploma in Business Administration. He has over 22 years of experience in pre and post contract management and also project management in his previous employment with Encorp Construct Sdn Bhd and CGS International (M) Sdn Bhd. He has managed various projects that include public services buildings, commercial properties, residential apartments and houses in Malaysia and Vietnam.

Vincent Rajkumar A/L Wasinda Kumar

Senior Manager, QAQC & Safety

Holds a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has over 16 years of experience in managing the quality assurance and quality control of products and also ensuring compliance of occupational, health and safety requirements at site. His previous working experience were with Encorp Construct, Sembawang Pte Ltd and IJM-Sunway-Zelan-LFE (ISZL) Consortium in Abu Dhabi, LFE Engineering and P&M Electrical and Mechanical.
